Can't add a printer with a slash ("/") in its name

When attempting to add a printer to Live PDF whose name includes a slash ("/"), the process will fail and will display the following dialog:

To correct the situation:

  • Select the Windows Start orb, then Devices and Printers
  • Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer properties
  • Rename the printer so there are no slashes ("/") in its name
  • If the printer is shared, you will need to change the printer's Share name on the Sharing tab
  • Save your changes with OK or Apply
  • Attempt adding the printer again to Live PDF
