Print job submitted no print preview and job does not print

When users try to print via LivePDF after carrying out the fix here the print job still fails.  It is seen to appear within the print window but no preview is seen.  On printing the print job leaves the LivePDF queue but does not reach the printer.


This fault has been found to happen after a patch or update has been applied to Windows 10 and Windows 8.1.  Windows 7 does not seem to be affected.

The issue is caused by an update removing permissions to the LivePDF folder within AppData.


To resolve

Navigate to C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Temp\LivePdf

Highlight the folder right click and select "Properties"


Go to the security tab.

All rights and permissions will be seen as empty

Select Edit and add



Authenticated users


Administrators (if required)


and give full control.


Log out of the PC log in and try a test print
